Default My new bike

Picked it up over the weekend. its a 98 RM 250 in great shape. Runs real strong, I just gotta learn to ride it now.

Quick question.......the guy I got it from wieghed about 170ish. I am closer to 220. Do I need to adjust the suspension? If so how is that done?

Here's a couple pics

nice lookin bike...as far as the suspension...its always best to have it dialed in to your rider weight and riding style..but id say since your just learning to ride it...maybe see how you like the feel of this suspension and get used to the bike before you go and spend $$ on it

Definitely wait until you get used to the bike to try and dial in the suspension. What kind of riding do you like? You can hit pismo beach for some nice sand riding or Hungry Valley is pretty fun for trails

Not sure what kind of riding I will prefer yet. I have spent many years riding street bikes so this is kinda new to me. I rode a dirt bike for the first time out side of Vegas a few weeks ago.
