the 500 axle is alot beffier than the 250. the 500 axle will not fit in the 250 bearing carrier. there is not enough meat in the carrier to bore them out for the larger bearings.

the 500 does use the same rear wheel hubs as the 88-92 lt250r though.

The clutch basket in an 87 rm250 is the same as the 87-92 lt250r's. The springs are different,but the inner and outer basket and the plate are the same,or at least they are interchangeable

i've used an 86 clutch basket & they interchange not sure about the 87 look it over real good

I meant the two baskets and pressure plate are the same i dont know about the friction plates. as for carbs,you can put a zilla carb on anlt250r,i think its 38mm?but you would be better of with a different carb

will honda wheels fit on z400 hubs??

also burgard makes +3 a-arms for the zilla and custom swing arms.

i ordered works shocks off of ebay for a harley big dog they were 13in eye to eye so i gave it a shot they look good (all chrome} and work fine on my 86lt
