Unhappy no low end

my bike is geared 14-42, planning to get it around 14-40 or 39. the problem is that the bike has barely any kind of go power on the bottem end. wont even pull up the front end.it has a fmf full exhaust stock reeds and stock carb, engine is bored out to a 262cc. i was told the it is the fmf exhaust. i need help.

What year is it? The 85-86 models didn't have much low end from what I have heard. If you want low end, get the compression up and buy a Dyno Port big volume pipe. I had one of those on a 88 lt and they are awesome low end pipes, but they don't rev out. They are strictly low to mid.

too much gearing and not enough motor probably. Try an 11 tooth in the front for wheelies and low end. Running 13/39 and 14/39 I wasn't doing many wheelies either.
