| They charge $125 to install the sleeve into your cylinder.

| ouch so.. roughly $200 after they ship it to you and you take it to a place to have done.. and then more money if you have to ship somewhere to have done.. idk doesn't sound very practical I have seen new cylinders (depends on bike I am sure) go for that much or cheaper and it would be a lot less trouble

| i had my 87 jug resleeved with the actual sleeve. not a slip in. it does make it where you cant resleeve again. but its done right. the other way of resleeveing is they just bore the old sleeve a little and insert the new one into it. i think that way you may have problems down the road. but anyhow the shop resleeved and redid the porting on it to match the old port and it only cost me $200. almost forgot, had the bottom of the jug shaved also. |

| a new rm125 cylinder is about $400. somewhere in that range depends on the year. i just rebuilt a 98 rm125 and had a new sleeve put in it. cost about $300 for a sleeve, install, piston and gaskets. a sleeve is better way to go, because you get 4 or 5 bores out of it. and a coated cylinder will wear eventually and wil need recoating or a sleeve installed. |
