| that estimate is exactly what ive been after! i have no idea what welding the crank does? im a little underinformed. what does welding the crank do and what does it involve?

Only mods at the moment is boyesen reeds, none of the machine shops in my state port or anything. all they do is honing.(australia btw) i want lower end torque and a bit more of a top end i ride sandy trails,fairly aggressive on the bike and im always on the band and pipe i use the compression of the bike a fair bit but for going through water i need a bit more torque, read up and apparently more torque = more low end and top end. i dont plan on getting an aftermarket pipe, but if i do probly PC factory works pipe.

| Low end torque and more top end?? Tall order on a banshee motor. If you have stock pipes, don't waste your time with shaving the head. Get a timing plate, advance it to 4 degrees, and get a shaved flywheel....that will increase bottom and mid as well as allow it to rev faster.

| To be honest, I'm not an RM guy...I don't know how much you can safely take off the head, I don't know a single spec on that bike other than it's a 125cc... Sorry... ![]()
