Lt 80

My daughter has a 04 lt 80, Here lately it will not start after it sits for a month. If i turn the pet cock to PRI and choke it will fire right up. after it warms up it runs perfect but if you let it idle for 30secs to a minute it will die, then I have to choke it again to get it to start. It has to be a fuel/air issue of some kind I just dont know where to start

Sounds like you need to pull the carb off and do some cleaning. I had a quad in other day that set for few months and we had to prime it and it would run but not idle good. So I finally pulled it off took it apart and used carb cleaner aerosol can and some small tip cleaners to clean out the thing. Put back together and she idled smooooothh.
