| Has anybody rebuilt their rear shock on an 87-90 suzuki lt 250r? I did and it didn't work after. How much oil goes onto it. Do I fill it completely? I don't know if the piston went back togeter exacly the way it came out. Is their any info out there. Dealer told me not to rebuild it, that I should buy a new one. Comments will be appreciated. 86 lt250r moderatley modified 88 lt 250r heavily modified |

| I'm pretty cheap and like to do things myself but this is one project that I let the experts handle. I took mine to a place here in PA called Smiths power sports and they send all their shocks to MX Tech for rebuilds. The total cost with tax was less than $120 and that included all parts (not just a seal). It works great. |

| Ya, I like to do things myself, dealer said it would be $350 to send it out. Ive already replaced the bladder, main seal, ceramic bushing, oil, and I've already charged it. I've spent 150$ already. |

| If you check out this thread you'll find some info on prices. I sent all 3 of my works shocks out to Phragle over on blasterhq. The front revalve/rebuild cost me 145 and the rear rebuild cost me 50. To have the rear revalved and rebuilt would only be 120. I have it all back and they seem awesome. I haven't been out on a real ride yet to comment on them thoroughly but hopefully this weekend I'll be out giving them a beating.
