| Those wheels are more than likely 10(diameter)x 8 1/2(wide). If they're the factory DID wheels, the size should be stamped into the wheel somewhere. For your bike, if its fairly close to stock, I would recommend Hauler 20x10-10 8 paddle tires for the rear. A tire with too many paddles on it, on a smaller displacement (less powerful) quad, having too many paddles will actually slow the bike down because it doesn't have enough power to spin the paddles like they need to be spun. The bike bogs down because it has to work too hard to turn the paddles. Fairly stock Banshees run real well with the 9 paddle, and Quadzillas and modded shees work well with a 10 paddle. The 12 paddle ones are best left to the drag racers. Personally I would recommend getting the sand tires on a set of Douglas Blue Label (.125) wheels because they are light, and thats really the point when talking sand tires. The lighter they are, the easier they are to turn. But if money is tight or something like that, those factory wheels will get the job done just fine. as for the wheel sizes, i'm not sure. I checked bikebandit to see if they still had the wheel sizes, but it was discontinued and didn't show any sizes. Hopefully someone else can help ya.

| I would not put a 9 paddle haulers on a stock or just piped 250, not enough motor for them. Either get 8 paddles or get a set of ITP sand star's. For a v style tire they hook up really good on smaller machines. I actually use them on my Banshee because of the shorter swingarm. |

| yea i ended up getting some 20 x 10 x 10 8 paddles im taking them to the sand tuesday WOOHOO and i have to be honest to refer to the bombardia ds650 as dog shit really isnt fair the 05' has been reduced in wieght and wheelbase i understand the earlier models are big cumbersome beast but the 05' is a nice ride for a 4 stroke and if i had 7000 to throw away i would seriouse look at the 05' ds650x i guess its tabboo to talk nice about a 4 stroke here and i hope i dont get kicked off the island but 4strokes have thier advantages such as low maintinance some are dogs some are not dont matter tho i have a badass little suzuki quad racer and for this week its the love of my life |

| if by low maint. you mean you only have to change the plug once a year, yes you are right but just try to do a head and piston on a 4 stroke by yourself and you will know the true meaning of high maint. and cost. Where I can do the complete piston, rod, topend rebuild in a weekend and for less than $200.00, you will spend a week and $1000.00 to do the motor on a 4-stroke. Not to mention trying to keep the stupid valves adjusted correctly every 20 hrs ride time. 4-strokes are loud and obnoxious turf buster just like their riders and 2-stroke are for the real riders.
