LT 500 baskets

Ok guys here here is the deal on the LT 500 clutch baskets..Hinson moved the release date back 6 more weeks If any one has a line on some where that might thave them let me know RMATV dose not or any other company in the US that I have fond...SO I have 12 on order and they are only running 200 on this run so I might order 20..Just to have them...

i think you know what needs to be done Wade ... begin production on a michaels motorsports billet lt baskets ,could be a millionair ,also make billet water pumps for lts and graphic kits ,just send me the royaltys for the idea later

I do have a bullet proof basket in the works it is all hard faced and custom cut for the 650..

soebody was telling me they made some bullet proof crap the other month...they actually shot it with a 7mm and nothing happened...

that would be a cool clutch basket lol

I've found several baskets at a few different stores but no Hinsons. Well, there were 2 yesterday at Midwest Action Cycle but when I called back about 4-5 hours later they were gone. I would have snagged one the first time I called had they come with the ring gear. I'm going to remove the ring gear from my new Suzuki basket and hardface the basket myself. I don't trust those rivits anyway. Maybe I'll anodise it a cool blue color that will be never seen anyway, LOL. Only takes an extra 5 minutes.

I talked to Midwest and they were out and that was last week ...I can get the factory baskets all day long with no problem..But after market are the big problem...

Well from my experiance when a company is out of stock it means 1 of 3 things

1.) They are out of stock
2.) They are raising the price
3.) Or they are thinking of discontinuing the line because of lack of demand

With there becoming less and less running Zilla's out there it will be hard for them to do a run of baskets for the zilla. Especially when they can run a basket for a banshee and have a huge audience. I would go with the stocker for now DT just get it running. I am sure someone smaller shop will make a basket if Hinison drops the ball. Wade??

I have been giveing it some thought or just do like Kane said get the factory ones anodized so they would be harder on on the surface for better wear....
