Sorry, but I hate when people hack up LT frames and stuff oversized engines in them. Sell the LT to somebody who wants it and then hack up a 400EX frame. Do you ride this often? How good (or bad) does it handle and absorb bumps and jumps? I also see it's a 2004 motor. Did you get it from a wrecked GSX-R? Anyway, what are you using to try to open the zip files?

Hey, this is the best frame out there for this project, I also own a 87 zilla LT500 motor, and a 86 LT250R... So I still have some great rides, I just wanted something fast(er). I first tried it with windows zipping agent (windows XP) Then I installed Winzip, and still no luck, do you need a certain version of winzip? I am using v8.0. Thanks Scott PS, sorry you dont like the quad...

Thanks man, winrar did the trick..... Next problem, any clue on how to install that LT500 parts program that is in the manual area? Scott

well you own a couple 2 strokes.. persoanlly a zilla without a LT500 engien almost sounds nice.. haha but a kawi H2 woulda been a better choice for an engine swap.... actually alot of the big CC street bike engines aren't that fast in quad frames the gearing is all wrong.... plus they weigh alot more...

At this point, I'd have to agree with you 370. Got this latest Zilla (87) with a bombed out cratered engine, rebuilt it, rode for maybe 10hrs, now an exploded ring gear. Has me so pissed off maybe I'll stick an old 76 XL250 engine in it. Nowhere near the power, but hey, maybe it'll show suzuki the point on building a bulletproof engine. Just bad attitude talkin, you know.

Well the gearing on this will definatly be right, I am custom making my own rear sprocket for the zilla, and with the tires. Stock Gixxer gearing is 16-45, the MY zilla was 13-41, I will doing 14-52. It should get up an go. But it will be all about test and tuning this quad. But it will be fast, faster than a zilla, or banshee.... There is no reason why it wouldnt be. Scott

| I have to hand it to you, I love when people build there own machines. Keep it up!!

That is AMAZING!!! I love a kick ass hybrid, i ride street bikes and quads, and thats the perfect mix. i had a buddy who had a gsx-r 1000 engin in a banshee, i rode that thing but never got out of seccond gear. (small parking lot)... keep up the good work and how to see it at the dunes some day!
