| I had two sidewinder sprokets, the aluminum ones. They worked fine in the dirt but everytime I went to the sand it ate up the teeth. It was pretty crazy, the first one they replaced and after the second I just put the stock one back on. |

| I heard that the DID o-ring chain is a very good chain, at a price of $75 it is too a little pricy. However for sprockets, go with the sidewinder, I have read alot of articals on these sprockets, aloys that self clean, Its amazing!!

| Thanks for the input, but Im interested in in the high density tool steel sprokets. Ive had the zilla eat several aluminum sprokets in the past. I want to buy something that will last(at least a decent amount of time). Whats everyone running on their Shees?

| That aluminum Sidewinder came from what, the early 80's? The new tri-alloy sprockets they produce today are the finest available on the market. I've been using the Sidewinder on my XR600 for 5 years solid with no sign of wear at all. Chains even last a bit longer using the Sidewinder sprockets. Besides which, non-race use Sidewinder sprockets are guarenteed for life. Send those two back and get free replacements. |

| I have sidewinders on my banshee. I have the Tri-moly and the harden steel front. ThenI have the triple chrome plated chain. I don't think I have adjusted my carrier once in the year that I have had it. The thing just don't streatch. I have always used sidewinders they are a great company to deal with.
