| If your carb is clean inside, then it's probably something else. Is your throttle cable bent or sticking? Check to see if your cable is good. If it is, give the cable a lube. Make sure the return spring on the carb is on properly and working correctly. |

| check the routing of the throttle cable too....if its bent too tightly somewhere along the line it'll make it stick.

| might be an air leak around the slide. mine did the same thing till i got a new carb. the old slide was so loose in the carb that it was sucking air around it. |

| Could be a worn out carb. If the slid has a lot of play side to side it could be that it is getting crooked in the carb body and staying open until you clutch it which is releaving some pressure going though the carb so it can drop the slid again. Thats a long shot I would just check it and look at some of the other suggestions. I just know Zilla carbs are usually not the newest things in the world. Lots of Zilla's still running the stock carb.
