topend seems like its missing on my lt500 it screams at 1/2 thorotal but wot its like its getting to much fuel has a 490 main and the plug is black was thinking of droping the main to a 480 470 any other suggestens rezs great thow

Definitely a jetting, and maybe a fuel mixture, problem. I can't help you with correct carb settings, though. What are you premixing at?

490 Main? Holy cow that's huge. Too much fuel. I run a 440 main and I'm at 522cc, ported intake, p&p exhaust, pipe, reeds, spacer, no airbox lid and I believe I'm on the rich side....to be safe. I would try going like around 400-420. Well before I say that what mods you have done to your zilla? -Mark

its got 60 over fmf pipes boyson power reeds i droped the needle clip to 3rd notch from the 4 th made some difference also running 40:1 with h1r belray also ported after droping the needle clip still black plug but running alittle better

my zilla is 40 over, fmf pipe, boyesen reeds, I have a 420 main and mine is rich as all hell

i bet you its that oil. i bought it by mistake once and was fouling plugs and running like crap the whole time i used it. i use bel ray mc1 mixed at 50:1. bored 80 over, fmf pipe, fmf reed valve, keihin 39 mm carb and k+n filter with no lid.

Whats the difference int he two oils?? I'm thinking I will switch to that and drop the main to about a 440 and then go from there thanks for the advice I will let you know how this goes

it looked thicker to me. i went back to the mc1 and it fixed my problem.
