theres a chance it could be your sparkplug cap, if you have a manual, there should be a troubleshooting section so you can pinpoint the problem a little better. i always hate buying a replacement part, when that part wasn't even the problem.

I had a problem with my sparkplug cap. It pulled away from the wire, but didn't fall off. This made it appear that the cap was fine, but the wires were never contacting the metal inside the sparkplug cap.

The 250 and 500 share the same coil. Download the manual for the 500 in the manuals section and use the stats in that. And, yeah, most of the time it's just a faulty plug boot or plug. The LT's have a pretty stable electrical system.

With the LT250 and 500 you should feel the plug coming into contact with metal in the plug boot. I had the same problem on my zilla back in the day. Talk to flattrack if you need a coil probaly get an aftermarket one.

There is always the tongue test. Stick your tongue in there and have a buddy kick it over.
