'85 or '86 lt250r motor for trade

I have an lt250r motor that I want to trade. It is either an '85 or '86, but I'm not sure. The motor came on an '87 lt250r that I bought, but it doesn't fit correctly in the '87 frame. It runs very strong, has 145 psi of compression, and shifts nicely through all five gears. I am Looking for someone who would like to trade me an '87 or newer motor, which is compatible with the '87 frame. If you want, I can throw in a very nice FMF silencer, and a pretty well beat up FMF head pipe. Thanks!

i wouldn't think you would get too many people to make that trade as the 87+ motors are much more desireable...best bet may be try to sell/buy with ebay.

yes it will, the 85-86's are interchangeable between each other...just not with the 87+
