Default 85 lt250 reed cage

on my quad racer the reeds are located at the bottom of the jug, this is before they started putting the reed cage right after the carb. anyways i need to get replacement reed cage (or what ever holds the reeds to the bottom of the jug) due to stripped screws, I do not need the reeds themselves. Does anyone know where i might be able to find these parts?

ritter cycle racing...they make a good reed cage for our early model lt's it comes with reed too...buut i dont understand how you stripped the threds...did you strip the threads, or just the screws?cuz if you stripped the threads in the jug your going to have to get some thread repair...but if you just stripped the screws drill them out and get some new ones...

i'd say check to see what exactly is stripped out. did you cross thread the bolts into the jug??? if so just get a 6mmx1.00 tap and clean up the threads. tehn just snag some new bolts and your good to go. or did you strip out the holes in the cage itself that hold the reeds on?? if thats the case just get a new cage. i've heard great things bout G3 reeds from 1drracing. pm banshee and ask him about the URL for 1dr racing (i think hes a saleman for them now lol)

the reed cage components include two pieces of metal sandwiching the reeds in between. the threads of the first piece of metal that holds the reeds to the other piece of metal is stripped, but the 2nd piece of metal which holds the reeds to the jug is fine only the screws are stripped, the threads going into the jug are fine. If possible i am looking for all three reed assembly pieces.
