| here is the listing im putting on ebay (although it will probably sell locally first) 1987 lt250r There are no cracks breaks or bends of any kind in the frame and all bearings are in great condition as well as the ball joints, clutches, and tie rod ends. The shocks are stock so they aren’t brand new but are in good working order. The frame has been sandblasted, primed and painted with 3 coats of Suzuki blue paint. The swingarm, linkage and reservoir are all polished. The top end is brand new with a .30 over bore and wiseco piston kit. No gaskets were reused, the motor has brand new gaskets top and bottom end as well as a polished stator and clutch cover. The intake starts with a uni filter, new boyseen pro reeds, and into a correctly jetted and thoroughly cleaned stock carb. Exhaust is handled through a new triple chrome fmf fatty and fmf silencer (polished). On to the body…. new maier race cut front fenders (orange), hood and cap (blue), and rears (orange). All the plastic is new style shiny maier and has never seen a single spec of dirt. The seat cover is also new and made by ceet. The brakes are also new in the back and in excellent shape in the front. If you request I can send a short clip of the bike being started and running so you can bid with complete confidence. I would like to state again this bike has never seen dirt, and will only be ridden enough to correctly break the engine in. I can almost assure you this will be the cleanest lt250r you find on ebay. I also have the title for this machine . Like I said im waiting on a bumper, clutch cover, hood cap, front wheels, and maybe a chain guard. andi have to put the shock covers on too. The paint wasn’t a cheap spray it job either, the a-arms were stripped and the frame was sand blasted and everything was primed first and done right. The nerfs were nasty too but those got sand blasted and redone Also the decals are gonna look sweet once they get put on nothing fancy just a sort of tribal s on either side of the tank And Suzuki logos that are like tribal flames for the rear fenders. They look pretty sharp Last edited by jeepnrocks; 07-07-2004 at 04:10 PM. |
