What should I get?

Alright i run MX and i was wondering what should i get,i can get a completly rebuilt '92 LT250 for $1100 or should i save up or somethin and get a trx250r or banshee or quadzilla?just wonderin thanks

if you have the money buy the lt250r...go nuts on it shock,a arms, swing arm,everything you can find for it...there faster stock for stock than a 250r,the handleing just isnt as good 'stock'...if you want to buy an expensive bike and not spend too much money on it then go with the 250r...but i think the world could use another mx quadracer right about now....scott

if your racing MX the last thing you want is a zilla or a banshee. they are both lacking in teh handling department not to mentions taht they both are going to have to race in the open class. get the LT and mod that crap out of it. but i'd say save up for a "R" they kick all forms of ass. plus there is way moer aftermarket for the TRX than the LT

I say the 250R, but then again I have one. stock for stock yeah the lt is a little faster in a straight line, but on a track its a different game. You could throw money into it with the money you save by buying the LT, but it still doesnt have that honda frame geometry. I have nothing against LT's, I like them, but as for overall MX quad the R is the one to get if you have the money. It would be nice to see more LT's out on the track though. Its a rare thing where im from to see a Lt on the MX track. And these dudes have them tricked out and there tough to beat. Buy whatever Brand you like more or have the money for. There both good quads.

that day i thought that the lt rider was doing pretty good,on our quad series race he took 1st so i dont doubt the LTs,but i cant find a good price 4 a honda 250r for sale

ok well i'm not sure how a zilla and a LT250R are racing in the same class
unless your racing open B. but even so for a zilla or a shee to be doin that godd it must be a track with lots of long straights

oh yeah don't ever forget about rider skill. if the guy on a zilla is good and the guy on teh TRX sucks then you can't hold that against the TRX
