 Differences in the 87-90 LT500? What are the changes made to the LT500 from 87-90?I know it is not much but I am curious.Please elaborate!       |

 I believe the 87's had a different motor than 88-90's. Same size but different tranny ratio's.

| the 87 had a 5 stud head and the 88-90 had a 6 stud head or soemthing like that. i believe that the 88-90 engines are better because they don't waste head gaskets like the 87 do. |

| The 87 blow head gaskets really bad.
