Default my lt keeps losing power when it gets wet need help

i pulled the stator cover and sealed it good but i still have the problem

Not necessarily in ur stator cover, but apparently you have a bare wire somewhere, jus check all your wires out, bound to be a bare one somwhere if it's shorting out.

it is not really shorting out it just loses power i can put it full bore and it just barely runs

how deep of water???? do you have an air box lid. air box vents, or holes drilled in air box??

Does it run alright when it is dry? And does it have vents or a lid?

not deep at all the air box is the stock one it comes with the water was just a puddle

make sure all your plugs are tight and you don;t have any bare wires or any wires with split insulation

Check to make sure you dont have any bare wires like the others said especially from the coil to the spark plug. I had a similiar problem once and I put a new spark plug cap on it and it ran great. So if there are not any bare wires spend the couple of bucks on a new plug cap, preferrably a waterproof cap.
