Wheels for an 86?

Does anyone know if the rear bolt pattern is the same on the 86 lt250r as it is on the newer models?

i think the 85-86 is 4 lug and 87-89 are 5, someone else can tell you for sure

the 85-86 use a 4x130 bolt pattern. They use a 24 spline axle. The new ones use a 26 spline axle so no they won't fit. But Honda 400ex hubs are the same 24 spline that you need. You just may have to use some kind of spacer. Or the other lt250r's hubs will work too.(the 5 lug ones) Just be sure they are for a 250 not a 500. the 500 has a bigger axle. If you can come up with some 5 lug hubs I have some really nice 8" douglas wheels I will sell you. Good luck!!

Thanks, I mostly need the tires though. I just wanted to see what would fit if they came with wheels.

What size are the wheels you have now? I have a couple sets of tires in the garage.

Right now I have Dick Cepeck SPider Trak tires which are 22x12.5x10. The tires are in OK condition, I just want something that hooks up better. Those things just spin.

87-92 wheels fit=5 lug pattern
85-86 fit =4 lug pattern

I have a pair of tires that have 2 rides on them. They are an imitiaion hole shot. They are called bad lands. 22-11-10 I think. I will make you a deal on them. Let me know if you are interested.
