Hello,

Are you talking about the screw/slot holder for the clutch cable that is on the clutch cover itself? If so that sucks!
My suggestion would be to locate a professional welder in you area, if you know a really good welder they may be able to make it better than new reinforcing it to hopefully prevent that from happening again; if it is a nice clean break near the bottom that does not effect the thread pattern.
There are a lot of knowledgeable people on here though, maybe someone has a better idea.

or you can get a nut and cut one side open and have it welded on, and i think they even sell a thing to fix that but i'm not sure where

Here is your fix. They are $30.00 but well worth the money. It's called a clutch cable holder. SKU: NC006. http://www.nacsracing.com/htmlcatalo...ble-holder.htm

I just did a search on Google and i couldn't find anything for the 85 86. I will keep looking and ask around to see if anyone has seen them anywhere. Why do you have that same problem with yours being broken also?

No it just looks like a much better setup and easier to adjust. Let me know if you find one.

Extending you axel 2 inches won't affect it too much, but you will notice that your shock will bottom out quicker, and more things will be stressed. It will probably sit a little bit lower also. I've seen quads in mags with minor extensions on their swingarms and they don't seem to have a problem, but when extending, stuff tends to break much much sooner.
