quadzilla carb on a 250

I was just wondering if the carb off of a quadzilla will work on my 86 LT250R? I know I would need new jetting and I will have to modify the boot. Does anyone know if the throttle cables are the same? I have a twist throttle now on what I believe is the factory carb. Is this carb too big for my quad.

If i had to guess id say with proper jetting u will notice an improvement.I am in the process of replacing my 250's stock carbs with 38mm airstrikers...

Does anyone know if the throttle cable on my 250 will fit right into the quadzilla carb?

Only one way to find out. Just go buy the cheapest cable you can find hook it up and see. Then return it and get a better cable.

How many mm is the stock zilla carb?

Stock is a 38mm flatslide.

I dont have the zilla carb yet. But I guess the worst thing that could happen is that I would have to buy a new cable and throttle. Someone out there has to have tried this.
