I can not express how awesome my new set up is...I now have a 86 lt250r with a FMF Fatty gold series pipe with a FMF Core Silencer...38 mm keihin airstriker Carbs,G3reeds and reed cage,, and have a k&n filter without the airbox with the filter sock and i must say this thing is so impressive that when the powerband kicks in it pulls harder than my modded gsxr 1000...I will have to give Will from www.1dirracing.com A SPECIAL THANKS FOR HELPING ME set up my quad!!!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!!!!!EXCELLENT PRODUCT AND THIS THING RIPS WITH THESE REEDS....The G# reeds rock...More power from idle to redline...And with my set uo this thing idles better than my old 4 poke did....So anyone out there with a quad that wants to ripp try this above set up and youll be more than happy...I promise...Another smokin 2 stroke!!!!

Glad you like them. It is truely amazing how much power there reeds make. I won't use anything other than G3's in my 2-strokes. I hope to get some in my sleds and the CR250 soon.

How much did the reeds cost for your 86. I am looking at getting a set but first have to work them into my budget. Let me know cause I think they would be a great addition to my quad.

The reed cage and petals i believe were under $100...Give Will a call at 1dirracing.com he'll take good care of you..Its a must have for 2 strokes..Makes Boyseen reeds look like cardboard cut outs lol...Especially if your ported..Talk to him he has mega set ups for cheap!!!All sorts of little shit that adds a few hp hear and there!!!!

I bought a set recently for my trx250r and these reeds are awesome. I'm glad to hear that they are good for other makes of quads too. Those guys at 1DIR racing sure do know what the f*** is going on when reeds are concerned.

Can you use these reeds in a boysen cage?..or wouldn't i get the same effect?...i've got a boysen reed cage and reeds now and was wondering if i would need to replace both..

They come complete with cage and spacer plate with gaskets .

I would go with the whole set up...U cant go wrong and once you get the cage and spacer when it is time for reed replacement u can get just the replacement petals...Belie :p ve me you ll love them!!!
