I run the NGK BR8ES plugs. I have really good luck with them in my 86 LT and I think most people will agree with me that the NGK plugs are about the best plug out there to run in a quad or dirtbike. Sounds to me like you need to check you jetting and you mixture in your gas. Sounds like it is running really rich if you are fouling plugs all the time.

i use a NGK B9ES. I've never tried anything different because that is what came in my quad when i bought it used. I figure if it runs good, why change the plug type? I've owned my 250r since feb 8th and i have NEVER fowled a plug. I almost fowled one when i was breaking the engine back in from the rebuild...but i replaced it and still no problems. Good luck...i'd try your jetting.

well say if this guy is using some other oil at 32:1. will the change to 50:1 and a different oil make a difference? like harm the engine?
also, what gear oil should i use?

EDIT: oh yea, and can you or that other guy ship it to me or something? is it cheaper than if i buy it at a shop?

the change in oil wont hurt. 370 and pete will be able to get in delivered to your door for cheaper than you can go to your local shop and buy it. I swithed to a amsoil gear oil in my LT and it made alot of difference. It shifts so much smoother. and at 50:1 you will be running alot less oil.

the best way is to set you up on a prefered buyer program. i'll be setup in a couple weeks. on the prefered buyer program you order your own oil stright from amsoil and you get it a dealer cost. i would say buy a bottle of dominator from pete (prime synthetics)
