Hello, If the frame and the cases are the same color (cool color by the way ) I think I would polish the jug to make it stand out a little, otherwise everything will be the same color (personally I like to have things stand out). If not polish then maybe a different color, match your plastics maybe?Just a few thoughts, looks sweet so far! :p

| What kinda paint did you use. I am looking to repaint my LT motor this winter and powdercoat everything else. Just want to make sure I get good paint so it don't chip off. By the way the color is sweet. Let me know please.

| How did you keep the powdercoat out of the motor and only on the outside?

| They tape it off then spray the powder on it. Remove take. Then bake. That would be my guess but I'm not a powdercoater

| That will be one sweet looking lower case for your quad and i think to polish the jug will make it stand out and look very cool, but that lower case color is sweet i like it a lot.

| The powder color is Hammerthrow blue and it goes on 6x thicker that any paint. They first heat the metal so the pores open then they spray it and then they bake it in the oven. They test the powder once done by hitting it with a hammer. Is that impact resistant enough for you. The cool head, mag. cover, water pump and the exhaust valve cover will be polished. The kicker, shifter, and motor mounts will be chrome. I want to have the cool head stand out and if the jug is polished I think it may just blend in. I only have 3 days left to decide so what does everyone think powder or polish? ![]()

| I say powder the jug. All the other polished parts and chrome will break it up good. On your jug did you have to resleeve it or can they powder it with the sleeve in. I didn't know since it has to go into an oven. Just trying to get all the answers before I decide to do my motor. Thanks.
