Default engine swap

I own an 85 lt250r and I wanted to know if i can switch to a 500cc twostroke. I know there is alot of work involved such as welding new mounts, and making sure the pipe can fit. If so, is there a certain engine that is best, cr500, lt500. and which one would be easier.

Well you can do anything if you put some time into it. As for what motor is better I would say the CR500 because you can get one that is newer. But I also think the LT500 stock vs CR500 stock the LT500 is more power out of the crate. I would say go with the CR500 you can alway port it out to be better than the LT500

definatly go with the lt500r...your staying with suzuki and ct make pipes for this engine swap...plus its pretty easy to do...theres a bunch of info on macdizzy.com about it but it will cost you to read it...and the zilla motor also vibrates less than the cr...
