Default A little trouble starting????

I noticed since i put in my new carbs and got my quad running sweet its a little tuff to start...Before i could just kick it over and it would start...For example when it was cold id just open the choke and kick it and it would start...And when warmed up i would just kick it and boom 1 kick and no throttle and it would fire..Now when its warm if i dont give it just enough throttle when i kick it over its a pain...Any ideas!!!I t runs sweet but i like it better when i would just kick it over and it would fire without throttle!!!Thanks guys!!!

My LT was doing the same thing, i'd need to kick it over at least 20 times b/4 it would fire once, but the guys on here told me to turn the gas off b/4 i shut the quad off and rev it up a few times, it worked great for me. not sure if it is the same problem w/ yours tho. mine will now start on 2nd kick, but figures now that i have no brakes...

yeah you should give that a try. Mine would flood it self if I didn't do that. Or maybe it isn't getting enough gas at first to start.

I would say just make sure your idle is good because if at no throttle you idling really low it will be hard to start. Your motor should have a pretty fast ping..ping.ping..ping.ping you don't want it ping....ping...ping....ping.....ping. Just a thought

Banshee it sounds like a plan maybe ill turn the idle up a half turn because when it was idling a little higher it was fine..I though it was idling a little high so i lowered it .5 turn..Thats when it became a little tuff to start!!!
