Antone using the company Outerwares prefilters!!!

Just wondering how they work because i am trying spraying my k&n prefilter with water repellent to see if that works and if it dont i might try the OUTERWARES prefilter!!!Any Info!!!Thanks

I will not run a k&n filter without an outterwear. Yes they let a lot more air in but they also let more dirt. The outterwear is the greastest thing invented for air filters I think.

From my research, all prefilters are made by the outer ware company, weather its K&N, white bros, etc. I have personaly talked with them, there isn't any difference in them but the name stamped on them, they also make one that already has the water repellent.
Just alittle info to save you money.

I have used them without a problem but now prefer the UNI due to dirt getting into the motor from the K&N.

So no one had a problem with the filter sucking in water....Right thru the prefilter???

i am thinking of getting their air box lid replacement and sticking with a foam filter

Unless you plan on riding through a river, I wouldnt worry about a K&N with Outerwear getting fudged up with dirt or water. I have both on my Alba Banshee and she runs like a dream.
