idle?

I have a 1992 suzuki ds80 and i cannot set the idle right. When the bike is warm and i set the idle sitting there its fine. But when I ride it i pull in the clutch and the rpms stay very high like im pulling the trottle back. After the rpms die which takes a lot of time the idle is fine again when stopped. What could be the problem?? Thanks.

check for air leaks on the intake

There was one where the air tube hooks onto the carb and i fixed that. It did idle good for a little bit but then went back to how it was before. And there is no air leaks now.

Get it running and keep it at as low of a rev as you can and spray a little starting fluid orind all the boots. If you have a leak it will rev up when u spray it. You could have a leak that you just can't see.
