Default 85-86 lt250r swing-arm

This is probley a dumb ass question but does anyone know where i can find and extended swing arm for 85-86 lt250r....im not expecting anyone to know but hopfully someone will surprise me?!

or is it possible to build my own....well i know its possible but is it worth it?

atv racing in arizona can extend them up to 4 inches. you could get a 87-90 aftermarket one thats longer and bolt it up to the 85-86 frame.

I'm not sure it would fit. I thought the swingarm width changed somewhere during the years.

well i don't think so. the swingarm bolt is the same for all of them so the frame isn't any wider and i have seen 87-90 swingarms on 85-86's. just need to use the whole rear end. the 85-86 shock and pivot are the same and will bolt right up.

I've got an 87 swingarm on my 86 and it works just fine. Unless you are doing some drag racing or dune riding, I would just look for an 87-92 on eBay. There's a couple on there right now.
