WOW! no section for Polaris?

Here we go again. My last build was a 79yz400 motor in a suzuki lt 230 chasis. That was a killer mod. Now I just picked up an old 1987 Polaris Cyclone with 250 2 stroke in it. I need to bore and get a piston to get it bak on the road but.....................

I want to put a BIGGER motor in it. I would like any suggestions or tell me I'm crazy.

the two-stroke scrambler 400 motors will run their ass off if ported by the right person, and with all the goodies that go with it.
that would be an interesting swap.

Ok, will look into those today. Don't forget a snowmobille motor can be swapped in too!!!!! Are we talking 900cc 2 stroke?

you want a strong able bodied motor and/or a good frame design platform and really the cyclone has neither ,the chassy is probably not worthy of putting in a good hybrid transplant ,too old school in design IMHO..i would just fix it up wit ha fresh topend and maybe a trail port and head cut for more umph in the trails and hills .the scrambler400's make decent power when modifed but would require a substantial investment and a much better exhaust design

look up hpd-inc.com they do great work to the 400 motors. some were mx bikes dynoed at 90+ horsepower

what type of motor do you want? 900 is to big unless its sand honestly. id say 400, 440, or 600 but what type of riding is going to go on
