With tons of options in tires it is hard to make a decision on what kind of tire to get. We have all been there before got the cash in hand but no clue what tire will do the best for what riding we do. Well if you like the hole shot and like to grab traction in the corners, but still able to whip a sick donut the Razr II's are for you.
I bought my tires and ITP .190 rims from www.4atvtires.com and could not have been happier with the service from those guys. The riding I do there is a lot of rocks and crap in the way so I wanted to get the ass end up off the ground about an inch. I got the tires 2 inches bigger in diameter front and rear and it got the ass end of the ground. It took some time to get used to the new tires first time I punched the gas I got so much traction that I ended up on my ass. The turning radius was larger which took some getting used to. Overall though once I got my +2+1 A-Arms the front end is now so much better than it ever was. Next I need to get the tires a little further back because the tires are very close to rubbing the heal guards and do sometimes on big bumps.
Overall these tires are once of the best that I have had on my ATV's. I am however a little concerned on how soft the rubber is. They wore down about 1/8" to 1/4" this past summer but if they last me a couple of seasons then I will be happy. |
