Question Front Sand Tires???

Hey im looking to get a set of front sand tires and rims for the big SL trip and im not really sure which style i want to go with....im not looking to spend alot of money on Skat Traks but any other brand would be fine.....I was looking at the Kenda Duner,GBC Shark Fin, or The AMS Blactail or Diamond Track.....what sand tire do you guys think i should get????

I have the GBC shark fin....they seem to work pretty well, especially for the low price tag

cool....i used them last year at SL and was fine....but saw other designs with just a solid strip through the middle of the tire instead of the tread design on the shark fin and didnt no if there rele was a diff in the two or they serve the same purpose...

i use shark fins they seem to work fine, get the lightest tire you can so they will float better.

it depends on whether you want the quad to turn well or not...and with an extended swingarm, you're pissing into the wind with trying to turn anyways....might as well get either something cheap....or smooth buffs

anything is gonna turn. and a lighter full buff tire is not gonna float any better than a non buff. air presure will make the biggest diffrence. i run dune trackers on my shee with a +4 swingarm and 22x11x8 extremes and dont have a any issues turning.

I really like the Mohawks http://www.skat-trak.com/atvsand.html & thinking of getting me a pair. I run the ITP's http://www.rockymountainatv.com/prod...dFamilyId=5363 & they're still new. Kinda senseless to buy the hawks right now but it would make the bike look a little meaner!
