I'm not really sure Rob. I went from double ribbed ITP's on a stock shee to the Hawks on a ported shee.
The Pismo dragstrip was chopped up when I ran em so she wasn't too stable. I'm sure better now with the +2 Swingarm.
When I dune I kinda toss the bike around, not sure how much difference on the turning. Almost want to say it doesn't matter..

I also buy things because I like them, I like the look of Hawks on a shee.. Gives it a mean look!

I always see deals on front sand tires, it would be nice just to have the matching pair.
I'll keep an eye out on a good deal for you!

It doesn't matter, it's about the same when heavy on the throttle. I
want the nice fluffy sand when Im out in the dunes. I have hard packed dirt & gravel at the local spots.

Good question for this thread.. How do you compare a Mohawk to the Smoothies I sold you?
I know you drag em but do you dune em?

i have run both types of fronts. i like the smooth one better. ribbed do turn better though. i don't like to turn that fast, just me. also ribbed, when not on the gas will pull a little from side to side. think of two rudders on a boat? but both turn better than a dirt tire and lighter too.
