i know you may call me dumb for asking this but i dont care what people say so. how many of you have made or bought spike tires for there dirt bikes and if made how did you do it. thanks

i think you can buy studded tires

look on ebay, im sure someone has some listed. If you cant tell, i buy alot of things off of there. its a great site and you find alot of cheap stuff there. If you cant find them, i think that people just put small screws thru them and just put a tube in em. It be cheaper, but i dont kno how it would work.

There's a few guys here that run studs for ice on their atv tires, I assume the same on the dirtbike tires?

i use just those ice screws on my banshee, i just screw one into every lug on some turf tamers and it works good for what i use it for, i have friend that has tried the ice screws on dirt bike tires and he said that they would get ripped out or fling off pretty easily...i know he then bought tires that all ready had perminant studs in them...not sure how much or where

...i saw him wreck once with them on it and the back tire hit him in the side while it was still spining...straight through the jersey and a kidney belt...and made ground meat ouf of his side...

thanks for the site, I never knew that they made them. The looks like they would work good on the ice
