Default recomendations for the best tires for snow or ice or both

So, it is that time of year. The days are so much shorter know, and colder. And with this time of year comes snow and (my favorite) ice! I am interested to hear personal experience about which tires hooked up the best. I am looking for something really good for my blaster.

My holeshots can't hook up with a dead prostitute this time of the year!!!

well, since its for a blaster, I suspose you want something light weight? we've had good luck with some maxxis sur tracs, but they are kinda big, but no to heavy. basicly look for a tire thats got alot of spacing between the knobs.

I don't mind to much about the weight, I obviously don't want a 15 ply russian tank tire, but it is just for the snow. My blaster, which isn't the fastest out there, has TONS of power!!! I was NEVER going to buy one untill I rode this machine.

What is the largest size tires I can go with? I got a g-force spreading the rears out. If that makes any difference.......
