Best Asphalt Drag Tire?

It's a longtime yet but, just inquiring about what kind of tire would best be suited for asphalt drag racing? been thinkin of trying it ou at a local track this next summer and want to do a little research on possible tires. If anyone could give me a clue on tires or anything else that would be great.

i think hoosier tires are pretty good for what ur thinkin of, they make street tires for all sorts of stuff, and they have a really sick white logo on the tire!

ya ive heard of hoosier being pretty good, i think another one is american racer

American Racer..... These tires are awesome! They hook up very well whether you do a burn-out or not.

mickey thompson, but i dunno if they make tires small enough, they hold a good name racing tho, and yokohama tires rule, dunno if they make em small enuff

All I see is Hoosiers on the tire walls when there's asphalt drags going on.
I'd like to try some Walmart cheapies just to mess around my street..

get some old 4 lug car rims with tires, that might be cool

yeah run 4 dounts 13 inchers or somthin lol. whats a geo metro run???

walmart tires are expensive. im gonna go with good old tractor supply store<-- is that a michigan only store?
