i have a KX125 and was wondering if i could put a 250 tire on it. Would it fit the rim? and would it effect handling? I would love the extra traction, and my brother yells at me all the time for the roost in his face.

It will fit but the extra meat on the tire will wear out the little motor. The outside knobs might also rub on the inner part of the swingarm. There is a reason why 125's only run as big as the 100/90/19. The wider tire will also throw the rear end left and right when launching off jumps. Your better off getting a more aggressive tread pattern. Maxxis IT's have a nice roost throwing tread pattern.

i have an 87 kx125 rim on my 88 kx250, just make sure when you get the rim its from a year with the matching axle diameter, they did some wierd changes a few of the years, I wouldnt get such a wide tire on a kx125 it will definitely be a little hard on your motor.

Bigger isnt always better... The handling will be affected... The rear end will dance around and not want to hold its line as well... And the added weight will probably be very noticable on a 125...
