Default Ice Racing Tires

I was going to purchase a new set of tires to stud/screw for riding and racing on the ice.

* What are the best front and rear tires for ice racing?
* On what size wheels?

I have heard that Cheng Shin C826 are the best for the rear and Maxxis Razr tires are good for the front. Is this the way to go?

* What are the best screws to use?
* What size screw should be used (3/8", 1/2", etc.)?

I was going to use the gold ice screws; I think they may be Kold Kutter.

I have seen tires for MX bikes prestudded. Any chance they offer pre-studded tires for ATVs?

Thanks,
SZ

Are you doing alot of ice racing? Are you doin riding where there is a little snow on top? I don't race on the ice and the setup that I run is great. I use a Chen shin Tire in the rear with 7/8 stiuds. They go all the way into the tire but don't leak. I have a trike. My buddy with an 87 R uses Mohawks in the front and studs the mohawk part. Look at pics.

Oh yeah one more thing on a zilla you would have to stud every lug on a rear chen shin. My uncle and his friend both had zillas and ran those in the rear.

I'm not doing any ice racing right now. After some practicing on the local tracks, I plan to enter some races. I will be traveling over some snow but mostly just to get to the tracks.

I have heard that Zillas may break the seal on a heavily studded Cheng Shin during heavy racing. Which brings me to my next question.

* Does anyone make a beadlock type wheel for the zillas?

The zillas are 4/166 in front and 5/130 in rear. I have seen beadlock wheels on zillas but they may have had the "Honda" 4-bolt hubs on them. I would like to keep my existing hubs on.
