Default Holeshot Trac Star or XCR reviews?

I need a set of front tires for my 250r really bad. I like the Holeshots, but I'm not sure which one I want. I can't seem to find anyone that has a set of either of these tires. I like that the trac stars and the XCRs are very light weight and 6 ply. I'm leaning toward the Stars b/c they are a radial tire and from what I understand, radial tires ride better. I've never had a set of radials, so I don't know if it makes that much of a difference. The XCRs look better and more aggresive. I mostly ride in open fields, woods, and sometimes on a clay track. If anyone has had either one of these tires I would love to know your opinion. Actually, I would like to here any opinion. Thanks

ive not used either of these, but from looking at the pics on rocky mountain atv, to me it looks like the xcr front tire looks more like a mx style tread with the closer spaced knobs and such and the trac star fronts have a more open tread with big knobs and looks like they would work nice for the trails. the xcr's look like they might handle and turn a little more precise with the less-rounded profile.

If you want an excellent steering tire that handles great and that virtually lasts forever, the Maxxis Razr 2 is the only way to go on the front. I have had the same set on the front of my blaster for almost 3 years now and they still have about 60% tread left. They are very puncture resistant. I have had only 2 flats with them and they were both in the sidewall and were cut by sharp rocks. I plugged them both and they still hold air to this day. Hands down the best tire for trails and woods...they also do pretty well on motocross tracks and flat tracking as well.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was actually thinking about the razr 2s also. I will probably end up going w/ them since they do seem to be tried and true.
