Question paddles

I was just wondering what are some of the paddles you guys find that hook up good. Personally I run 10 paddle haulers. Also I was looking into buying some front sand tires right now I run smoothies, I was thinking about getting some razorbacks but then I was at a shop looking for some (they didn't carry them) so the salesman there started telling something like the single rib paddles are no good most people that buy them end up throwing their stock dirt tires back on. Is this true or was he just trying to get me to buy his (Sand Star Front, dual ribs)

well, need to know what kinda bike you have, and what mods are done and what kinda dune riding your into to figure out the rears. as for the fronts, i run dune trackers. there a single rib 21x8x10 design and work great for turning traction, somthing smoothies and mohawks arnt known best for. itp duel ribs are nice but expensive. i think i picked up my fronts for under $100 new on rims.

if your into drag racing and you got enough power step up to 22x11x8 haulers. the taller tire has more rollout for flat dragging and tends to stay on top of the sand better durring tight treeshots. the amount of paddles needed depends on how much power your putten down.

I've been looking at getting a set of sandtires for the front. I've seen a few brands selling the single rib style. Would i be shooting myself in the foot by buying the cheaper brand? Whats the pros and cons to the mohawks anyway? I kind of thought they looked cool.

Back on topic... I think that guy is just trying to sell you cr@p.

mohawks offer a little bit better traction than smooth buffs but not much. the angled rib floats better and will actualy catch and turn. some dont like this, but i do. i like the responsiveness of the ribed fronts.
