it all really depends, if you want a v-cut or straight cut. i personally run haulers. great hook up. what type of riding like drag racing, carving threw the dunes. some people say that the straight cut paddles are hard to turn, i dont think so, but than again all i have ridden on my quad are the straight, but i have ridden a bike with the V-cut. but nothing hooks up like a straight cut paddle. hopefully that helps you out good luck, with your buy

depends on how much power your engine is making. Obviously more hp, the bigger paddles or more paddles you can run

Its damn hard to beat the sand stars for traction and turning ability all in one tire.

the sand stars are ok for playign in teh sand... when you wana step up and do some climbing or draggin it's hauler time.... i just run haulers all teh time... a sand star doesn;t hook a 2 stroke as well as a hauler but a sand star is great on most 4 pokes

They hook better on our 250r than the 20 inch haulers ever thought about. Again you can just say O these tires work the best. In most cases a hauler will hook better out of the whole but there are so many variable so how a tire work other than one. I will continue to stick with the stars on a short swing arm bike, I have tried both on the honda and the stars are faster and handle better, you are riding a gas gas right. Thats a whole new ball park every bike works a little different with each paddle. My self I wouldnt waste money on short haulers. Just my .02
