Default How much Air in new mx tires?

Alright guys, they just opened a new mx track around town here and this is a very big deal beause it is about the only track in a 150 mile radius here in Northwestern Kansas so i am very excited. I bought brand new 18X10X8s Maxxis Razors MX Tires for the front and rear for my Honda 250R on .190 gauge aluminum wheels. What air pressure should I run so i don't bend my new wheels. I was thinking about 6 or 7 pounds all the way around. Also the track has some nice doubles but the longest jump is probally around 50ft so nothing to extreme. Any info would be great. Thanks

I would say 8psi front and 10psi rear. Then adjust from there at the track.

im no mx rider, but I hardly run any air pressure in my tires, i'd guess like 3 or 4 psi at the most in the back (4ply 20inch razars) and about 5 or 6 in the front (23inch holeshots). but all I ride is trails and from what I noticed the less air pressure you run the softer the ride.....to a certain extent. iver tried riding with 7 or 8 psi and it would beat you to death on real rough trails.

No i am not running the same size on the front and the back. I just listed the back because they could be 8 or 10 in rims were all you can get in the front is 10 inch rims. I was just lazy and didn't feel like typing it all. I get the 20x6x10 Maxxis razor MX for the front.
