You can use campershell foam as a rim strip.

my all time record was:

26 rear tubes
10 front tubes
7 rear tires
2 front tires
1 rear rim
3 sets of fork seals
and 2 shock seals.

damn well i jus happened to go in my shed today it was raining all day and i look at my back tire and i jus put a brand new extra heavy duty tube in that thing and have less than a week on it havent jumped it yet or anything stayed on grass and i have another flat damn tire i aired it up and i cant hear any leaks but i think sumone in coming in my shed and fucking with my bike honestly damn asshole neghbors

ya i guess you guys ride real hard cause i I have only went thru a couple tires and tubes on my rear tire

tape as a rim strip is bad. it corrodes the rim which pops the tube. just spend the money for the right stuff and your problem should stop

your spokes could pop it ot the rim lock is loose twisting the tube.. i use baby powder alot of it so the tube slips in the tire .. helps in stalling to the spoon will slip off stead of cutting it.. i use A HEAVY 18 NCH TUBE IT WORKS WELL

jcyamablue81 catches a nail every time we ride some how. Last time he cought 3. HOLY poop he changed out a tub once and did not pull all the nails out. So I put a hole tube of fix a flat in it, and it lasted him acouple of rides.
