Well straight paddles are good for drags and hill climbs. They dont turn as good as the V's though. I would say look at the Sand Geckos or the Sand Skates. Look at www.rockymountainatv.com or see if Flattrack has anything. So you ride at Glamis? We should try to go riding sometime. PM me.

For a Banshee, haulers or extreme haulers(if you have the power) for drags/ hill shooting & ITP Sandstars for duning.

well i run haulers and i dont get it people say you cant turn as well with the straight cut paddles, i know i can turn fine and you cant beat the hook up you get with them either. i will only run straight cut paddles, but that is me. my vote is haulers

Personally I like the sand stars for the money and a all around tire. Make sure you get them with a 8in wide wheel as the narrower profile seems to dig down and hook harder than a flatter profile wider tire. My roomate has a set on his banshee and they work great. It has a little porting by myself and it still hooks hard enough to holeshot people and hard enough to stand her up real easy. My dads 88 310 has a set too and they work excellent on it. We had a set on our yfz but they had a 9in wide wheel and just never had the hook that the 10X8s did. If you want to drag mostly there is no substitute for haulers but I wouldnt buy them unless they are at least 21's and are serious about dragging.

I ran 8 paddle Haulers (straight paddles) for years and loved them. The problem is that my last pair fell a part. I'm now running Sandstars and I think they're pretty good - not as good as a straight paddle, but good enough for play riding. If your bike is built, and you want to race the hills go with straight paddles. I miss roosting............... I may get another pair and swap back and forth when Oldsmobile Hill starts calling me back. But with my new motor I need an extended swing arm, even with the V paddles.

I just bought my banshee a moth ago and I have never riden one before. I wanted to tested out in Glamis but I didn't have paddles. I went and bought me some straight paddles mounted on 8 inch rims and WOW those babies were the shit, I was climbing the Oldsmobile like if I was going down hill. But watch out at the start off because you'll be seen the sky all the way up to third gear. As for the turns I find that its the same as dirt tires. try leaning all the way forward for the launch. Tire CHEN SHIN TIRE 20X10.00-8 HAULER SKAT TRAK I bought them for 250.00 at motorcycle plus.

20" haulers turn great. turns better than my buddys sand skate II's. now the 22" extreams is where turning is an issue. when im on the throttle and trying to turn the front just plows. but under normal excelleration its fine. im sure the extended swingarm dont help any either. but if you want max hookup the extreams are where its at.
