| Hey fella's, Im a new guy on this site. well, not new to the site just new to becoming a member of the site. Anyways I was curious if any of you know how well the Skat-Trak Taller Haulers work. Do any of you have them on your quads? Ive heard that they work pretty well for the holeshot but not so good in the top end mark. Is this true? I ask because Im looking in to buying a new set of sand Tires for my Zilla. I have 21x12x8 Sand Skate I's(8 paddle) on right now but there isnt enough paddle on them for the amount of power I have in the bike. I seem to be spinning my tires more than going forward. If any of you could give me some insite of my current situation, I would really appreciate it. thanks, T3Quadzillaracer |

| the taller 22 in tire will give you more top speed. but the 20x11x10 will give you better faster launch. being taht you sand drag and hillclimb i would go with the shorter tire. you can always gear up or down to dial in. the 22 in tire will track better through whoops though. just because of the increased flotation from the teller tire. it's up to you DT makes a good point. but i personally would go with the smaller tire your gonna be quicker that way. oh yeah the wider the paddle the better. more surface area for launchin it. don't worry bout drag from the wider tire in the upper RPM range because the tire will balloon up and skinny out when youi get it really wrapped up in the Rpm's |

| A taller hauler is going to hurt your top end due to the amount of drag they are going to put on your motor due to the size of the paddle. Regular haulers or extremes work well. The taller haulers are for high hp drag motors. I'm not sure what you have done, but I talking around the 100hp + area. I have used them (taller haulers) before on one of my 90+ hp 350cc banshee motors and they were great out of the hole, but I could def. tell they were slowing me down on the top end. I normally run 22x11x8 12 paddle haulers or 25x12x9 12 paddle haulers and have good luck with them. Craig

| oh the taller hauler has taller paddles. yeah the taller paddles will produce more drag. i thought the taller hualer meant he tire itself was taller like a 25x11x10 like cp uses. anyway use a 20x11x10 it's better out of the hole and get the extremes and if you really tear up paddles get the kevlar reinforced paddles. |

| dont get taller haulers unless you have a drag machine. if you shoot the trees and do alot of drag you should use 22x11x8 haulers or extream's. i use 8 paddle extreams and they hook. and dont get too wide of a rim. it will flatten out too much. you want it nice and round so at high speeds your contact patch is only a cupple inches. on 20" haulers with 10" rims if you have ever noticed at high speeds in the sand you start to hear a humming sound and you stop excellerating. too much drag. skipping over the effective edge of each paddle. 22's will launch out of the hole harder faster and stay on top of the sand better than 20's. the only downfall is you loose a little cornering. 20's deffinetly corner better. stay away from v blade desien paddles. you got too much power for them.

| another thing to think about is how much buff you want. regular is just buffed where the paddles are glued on. bead to bead is buffed from, well bead to bead. and tripple buff (super lights) are super thinn. the more buff the less weight. the less weight the faster you go. i run bead to bead. it shaves a cupple pounds off each tire but still leaves some rubber for puncture resistance. the super lights have no warranty so i would steer clear of them.

| Becareful using the taller haulers, they have great grip, but you sacrifice strength. If you have a high HP machine, get the Rippers, because with the TH you could rip the paddles off. They are a double backed version of the Taller Hauler. Same as the extreme is to the hauler. |
