Default Good size rear blaster tire

I need to get new tires for the rear of my blaster. The ones on there are the factory balloon looking tires and I don't like the look of them. Should I get the same size wheel or is there any advantage to getting a bigger wheel? thanks

Tire size depends on what your doing. Smaller tires will give you more power. Bigger tires will give you more speed. I'm not sure how much wider you can go on the blaster without kicking it out or extending it - maybe an inch.

Smaller tires give you more acceleration, not more power.

As for wheel sizes, larger rims usually give you lower profile tires. If you trail ride I would recommend you get a 20" tire and a 9" or 10" rim. The 9" rim will give you a little more sidewall which will give you a softer ride while a 10" rim will give you a little bit better handling. I doubt you'll notice much of a difference so you can just use your stock 9" rim (I think that's what rear Blaster rims are) and get new tires if that's the route you want to take.

blaster rear rims are 8in. stock. i use the maxxis 20/11-8 razr's. they work very well in many different types of terrain. the stock tires suck. i had them torn apart like 1 month after i bought the machine. handling and traction both improved with the razr's.

20" are way to small for Trail riding in NH. I run 22" or 23".
