I have a mix of snap-on and craftsman... I really feel snap-on qaulity is over-rated... I now buy most of my tools used... I really think the constuction of older tools(of any brand) is hard to beat, and the price is usually right..

I use a little of everyone. If you notice some of the specialty tools are made by the same people, so it doesnt really matter what name brand you get.

Ratchets, Sockets etc are Snap-On

Alot of Mac and Matco specialty stuff, such as testers, gauges etc....

Some Cornwell tools as well.

My toolboxes are all Snap on. All my heavy duty stuff for diesel engines and trucks is snap on industrial.

I actually just ordered a new show box for bike shows, and at the drag strip to take with me. Its a custom Snap on KRL Chrome and White (Primary color is Chrome, with White trim). With a stainless top workbench, then also complete with a lockable riser (like the one above in the red box, except mine comes to the edge of the box, not halfway like it appears that one does)

I like the craftsman, because I am too cheap to buy impact sockets...and if I destroy a craftsman.....well, lifetime warranty.

I don't mind busted knuckles either, all the more reason to stop and drink a beer!!!
