I have a bunch of Craftsman stuff & some china junk... but the china works fine for the quads.
Once butterflied a china socket trying to remove an exhaust from a Camry.
The the factory torqued nut split the socket & busted my knuckles on the oil pan.

Craftsman tools are good for the weekend mechanic but for a pro they're not worth the busted knuckles. Does anyone use "twist sockets"? I think they are the best thing ever invented. They're fluted sockets designed to remove stripped bolts. I got a head bolt off a Toyota V6 once and saved a lot of aggrevation not having to drill it out.

I have a lot of old Snap-on tools but everything I buy now is Snap-on.

Still need to get an air compressor so I can use all of my air tools.

Anyone got pictures of there tool box?

I have a set of those and they are the cats ass. They cut into the head counterclockwise to grab and remove the bolt.

Tool box pics.......I like that idea! As far as tools go, I'll say Mastercraft. w/ no busted knuckles. I'll break any tool if I'm pissed enough (Snap-Off) I've added pipe extensions to my Mastercraptsman ratchets.......I've only broke a little 1/4inch drive with a pipe cause I was too "lazy" to reach for the 3/8's or 1/2" drive. Brought it back....got another one. As far as Chineese stuff.......I can't say for sure what they are like now. My bro has a few newer chineese sets and they seem fine. Go back towards the 70's and I remember metal from China with the strength of plastic! To be honest in today's world I wouldn't doubt that Mastercraft is made in China or some other country that is willing to subject it's people to crap wages so we can have Lifetime Warranties on our tools and whatever else we buy! A lifetime of replaceable parts for a lifetime of working for next to nothing!!! This is how we bring balance to the World!!!!! Sorry, but I think I just woke up to something. Is Snap-On made in America by American workers? Cause I might be buying different tools from now on. Thanks, good subject!!!!! I don't mind paying more if it truly gives more to the little people that make things happen!
